Oh yeah.
Make sure you actually cook the turkey.
It's much better that way.

Just a few things to make yyour turkey day a little happier and more pleasant
Dont forget to pluck the feathers off the Turkey
Beer does count as a bread item and wine counts as a fruit.
As noted on Seinfeld, "Double Dipping" is a no no (unless no-one sees you doing it )
Try to avoid wearing elaborate feather headresses when turkey hunting
Gravy is not a beverage
Smashed tater sculptures should be graded for originality, "holiday themes", style and use of other foods
Never sit accross from those who like to "fling food"
The kids table is usually funner
Eating at halftime is considerred proper turley day etiquite amongst most men
never bring the things that no-body likes except you LOL!
only 1 green bean caserole per household
No the pilgrims didnt have mac and cheese as a side item, but they wanted to
Try to keep in mind that it's the triptophan in the turkey making you drowsey and not the conversation
If planning on going shopping the next morning for the doorbuster slaes, remember that bribery is the besy way to get someone to go with you
If you offer someone leftovers to take hom and they refuse, freeze them and give it to them as an X-mas present
Hopefully these will help make your holiday more joyous and fun.

Hopefully these tips will come in handy.
Also remember...
When turkey bowling, it's best to use a frozen turkey but...
it's ok to use a smaller ball, (er, I mean bird) to pick up splits and spares

Recipe for Success
"Thanksgiving horror stories? I have none. My turkeys always turn out perfectly. I find the key to family holiday success is buying as much wine as you think you need, and then doubling it."
